Sidney Crosby is one of the most dominant players in the NHL today, he seems to be able to hold and protect the puck longer than most players. Protecting the puck is an important skill for any hockey player, as is learning some effective fakes. When it comes to fakes there are quite a few you can learn, body fakes, stick fakes, head fakes, etc. In this video Crosby uses a simple and very effective skate / body fake to leave Nathan Mackinnon in his dust. This is something you can start using right away!
